Agent Visit in Auckland

Last week Dominion's Auckland campus was visited by a large group of 51 international agents! For the first time in the history of the school has such a large number of agents visited us!

The agents were in Auckland for the ANZA convention held at Sky City and stopped by on invitation to have a look at the school.

Margaret Jillings our Christchurch Principal came up to Auckland for this great occasion!

They were greeted with the Karanga, a Maori welcome, performed by Ora one of our teachers and a speech by Martin Wall our Principal. They were also greeted in Korean by Teacher and Korean Mentor Susan Kim.

After this hearty Dominion welcome the agents were taken on a tour of the school led in 3 groups by Martin Wall (Principal), Alyson Craig (Marketing Manager) & Nicola Joseph (Teacher - Class 6a) and Margaret Jillings (Christchurch Principal) & Kirstin Brown (Director of Studies).

After the tour our guests were presented with a special Dominion Gift!

They were also treated with Champagne and Orange Juice served by the students of our 6A class.

Next was the Harbour Cruise! All 51 agents, escorted by Alyson and Andrea our Student Welfare Officer enjoyed a ferry cruise through Auckland's scenic harbour.

Alyson was so keen to see that our visitors were comfortable that she arranged a massage for Claudir from Brazil during their business meeting to get the travel kinks out of his neck!

Dominion would like to thank all the wonderful agents who visited us and we look forward to working with you in the future!

Here's some more pics of this memorable occasion!
