July Magazine + Summary 2012

Hi Everyone!

Brrr! Well, winter is now in full force and so far it seems that July is living up to its reputation as the coldest month of the year in NZ. It might be difficult to get used to for all our new Tahitian students!

But winter can be FUN! Us Kiwis love to head down to the beautiful ski-fields of Mt Ruapehu at this time of year and spend some time in the snow. We have ski trips running almost every weekend in July so ask at Reception if you are interested.

This is a very busy month for us, with over 200 students from all around the world here at Dominion! On July 2nd we started our new IELTS, TECSOL and TOEIC courses, and our up-coming courses include:
23rd July - Evening Classes begin
13th August - EAP 1
and Cambridge Courses starting September 10th!

Hi Everyone!

Welcome to another edition of our Dominion magazine. We hope you are enjoying the (slightly colder) month of May. We had a busy April with 2 groups from Thailand, Noi’s teenagers and the CLIL group, who brought a lot of fun to the school! There was also TECSOL and J-Shine - well done to all the girls who completed those!
And now things have quietened down and everyone is knuckling down and studying hard. We have begun our new TECSOL, EAP and Cambridge classes and are now preparing for all our upcoming courses: Our next TESOL course begins May 28th, and we are also taking bookings for our new TOEIC Preparation and Business English afternoon class, as well as our next IELTS class, both starting July 2nd. But enough academic talk for now! Enjoy the rest of your May, and don’t forget to relax and have fun. Go outside while you still can!

New TOEIC Preparation and Business English afternoon class starting 2nd July

Afternoon class starting 2 July 2012
at Dominion English Schools

An excellent course for students wanting to learn Business English and prepare for the TOEIC exam

• Monday 2 July – Friday 17 August 2012 (7 weeks)
• Part-time afternoon study (excluding public holidays)
• Monday – Thursday 1.00pm for 2.5 hours study per day
• Friday afternoons – join Dominion’s option classes and mingle with other students from different classes.
• TOEIC exam (optional): Friday 17 August 2012
• Entry level of Dominion level 4+. Entrance test may apply.
• TOEIC exam fee, certificate and report: $250
• Part-time afternoons: $270 per week or combine your TOEIC course with general English in the mornings.
