Dominion is open all year round

Dominion does not close all year round, except for the Public Holidays. This month we will close on Thursday April 25th for ANZAC Day. It is a midweek holiday, but school will resume the following day. Anzac Day is a national day of remembrance in Australia and New Zealand, to honour the members of the
Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) who fought at Gallipoli in the Ottoman Empire during World War I. It now more broadly commemorates all those who served and died in military operations for their countries.

*Activities planned on 25th April - ANZAC day (Public holiday in NZ):

Option 1: Piha BBQ beach/ bush walks - Lots of yummy salads, steak, sausages and drink

Option 2: Hobbiton & Hamilton - visit The 'Lord of the Rings' movie site and Botanical Gardens
