Dominion on Air - Level 3

Have you ever wondered how we record our monthly radio programme?

Students work with their afternoon teacher for 3 days. First of all, they write their script in groups. Once the script is finished, they practice their pronunciation and intonation. The teacher helps to build up their confidence as well!!
On Thursday afternoon students go to Plains FM after a short walk from Dominion Christchurch. The Plains FM warmly receive them and they start to work promptly. Each group records their own part. Staff produce the radio programme with the music the students provide.

This is our Level 3 class.

You can go to Plains FM and listen to all Dominion on Air programmes. www.plainfm.gov.nz
